In the end the Batman who laughs takes on the foundation of the freaking multiverse, outhinks a few of the most powerful characters and deities ever. But not only that.NO they had to make him even more cosmic and it didn't even stop there. I wasn't sure but i thought maybe i can like this character.īut then he didn't die, no he kept up appearing. Now back then i thought, but the character looks really cool (and creepy) and he is implemented into the story in a way that makes sense. No, it's also mixture of Joker and Batman. Not only does this dude is a Batman who just easily takes out super powerful threats like a walk in the park with little to no real reason. Only featured both problems in a completely new capacity. It was honestly one of the most interesting DC stories in a while. I mean there are a lot of cool stories out there that particularly feature this stuff in some capacity and it a comic book character after all.īut then in 2018 Dark Nights Metal was published. Though more like a silent annoyance and i'm willing to tolerate it.

I like that Batman got the spotlight that much over the years but these two points always annoyed me a bit. And much like Batman this concept isn't even that unheard off. Much like Batman, Joker soon became a cosmic threat in some capacity too. And not only did Joker took the mantle of THE MAIN BATMAN VILLAIN but he also grew in power. No other villain would appear this frequently with Batman. But Batman has actually lots of great villains. He is definitely one of the best villain in general. Second point that bothered me was that Joker absolutely took off too. Still not a great fan of it but okay i can see that he needs to play a part. Otherwise he couldn't do much right? It's not even new actually, it happened before. Then again characters evolve and to make Batman appear in JL story lines he has to go somewhat cosmic at some point.

Sometimes he goes beyond but not that easily. Like thats really not what his character is supposed to do right? He is a vigilante guarding Gotham. The saying Batman+Prep takes everyone is stupid is a valid criticism in my opinion. To make it happen that Batman is everywhere he became able to keep up to Superman like characters on a "daily". One thing that bothered me was that suddenly everything became Batman, thats cool and bad actually. Good times.īut not everything was fine actually. It was a awesome surprise seeing Batman taking the lead in the superhero genre for a time with the awesome Dark Knight Trilogy and later the equally awesome Arkham Game series.
